Will stop for wildlife, especially for those who move very slowly. The boys thought they wouldn't get to hold a turtle until they got to Florida, but they were wrong. Arkansas offered this little guy. This turtle was rescued from the middle of the road, in exchange for helping him safely cross the road, he had to tolerate the boys holding him for a brief moment. Then he was released at the side of the road. The boys had to ask...can we keep him please! well no, but it was sure was nice of him to let us hold him. Good Times!

ReplyDeletePoncho is such a good little fury brother. He has turned into quite the man. He tries hard to be tall by hopping up on anything he can usually just outside of course. Grandma sometimes sneaks him into the living room though on the weekends.
The garden is beautiful, and it's producing to man greeny veggies: kale, lettuce, beet greens, chard, broccoli, basil...
We bought a bucket full of 1000 worms for vermicomposting! We're learning about it as we go along.
Oregon Country Fair was fun!!! I saw your sister Tres, she was with the boys, they were dressed up like forest folks.
