Rain=hot soup in the kitchen

I feel Fall in the air. Rain is coming down today. I made a pot of potato cream soup with a side of greens from the garden. I'm slowing down today. Sipping tea and thinking of indoor projects. The kids however are rowdy and disappointed in the weather changing our kayak and bike ride plans for the day.  Maybe cookies or muffins will improve their outlook on the day or a fort building session.
